Project Partners
The ATLETE project brings together five project partners from four European countries
Istituto di Studi per l’Integrazione dei Sistemiis an Italian private research and consultancy firm supporting public and private policy makers in the formulation, monitoring and evaluation of energy, transport and environmental policies and decisions. It was established in 1971, and has since been developing and applying decision support methods and tools, and providing services to international organisations (EU, WB, FAO), national and sub-national public authorities and to the industry.
With a full time staff of 20 professionals, ISIS is a major player in the EU energy research arena, having coordinated several important projects and participated to many others in FP4, FP5, FP6, FP7 and IEE programmes.
Within Atlete, ISIS will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of the project, and will be leading WP8 (IEE Dissemination activities).

ENEA is the Italian government agency responsible for the areas of new technology, energy and the environment. It is the largest research, development and dissemination body in Italy in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy. Approximately 500 technicians and scientists are employed in that activity with an annual budget of more than 60 million EURO. ENEA is also the main technical support of the Italian governmental and local institutions (as, i.e., the industry and environment Ministries, and Regional councils) for the energy/environmental themes and relevant policy planning. Beyond its research activities, ENEA is currently involved in the Government efforts to comply with Kyoto protocol objects, in demand side policy actions and in technical studies for the revision of energy policy measures (energy efficiency requirements and energy labelling schemes) for domestic end-uses. ENEA is strongly involved in RUE policies and measures for the improvement of energy labelling and efficiency for end-uses and buildings, has regional offices (CCEI) covering the whole of Italy for the dissemination of energy efficient technologies and is member of the EnR network.
The Energy Efficiency Center, Prague, is a not-for-profit consultancy company that has been operating in the Czech Republic since 1990. SEVEn´s mission is to protect the environment and support economic development by encouraging more efficient use of energy. SEVEn focuses on business development and economic and efficient energy use consultancy services. When solving the issues of projects, SEVEn uses its extensive knowledge of the transforming Central European economics together with the experience and approach of Western European countries and the USA.
In the area of household appliances and energy labels, SEVEn has been active in the promotion of labelling concept and efficiency aspects of appliance usage since the early stages of the labelling introduction in the Czech Republic.

European Committee of Domestic Equipment Manufacturers founded in 1958, CECED’s main objective is to represent and defend European Industry interests by providing a forum where agreement can be reached on issues of common interest such as product/process standardisation and regulatory initiatives. CECED acts as a dialogue partner with the EU's political and regulatory institutions and interacts with all interested parties to achieve consensus that can result in concrete commitments within the industry and that can become the basis for EU policy initiatives.

The French Agency for the Environment and Energy Management is a public body with industrial and commercial nature under the supervision of the French Ministries for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning (MEDAD) and for Higher Education and Research. ADEME aims to be the point of reference and privileged partner for the general public, companies and local authorities, acting as the State’s tool to generalise the best practices designed to protect the environment and energy saving.
With a staff of 820 employees (including 359 engineers, and a budget of €343 million (a €260-million action budget and an operating budget of €83 million), ADEME comprises specialised technical departments through 3 central sites and a strong local presence, with 26 regional delegations, 3 offices in French overseas territories and 1 office in Brussels.
